At The Half Way Tree Primary School, we have a collection of Service Clubs that aids in the social development of our students by instilling volunteerism and charitable characteristics.

"Building Leaders"
The Builders Club is a global student-led organization that provides members with learning and experiences to build character, contribute through service and develop leadership.
Values
Learning - Acquiring skills and knowledge to develop self-awareness and service leadership over time.
Inclusion - Accepting and welcoming the differences and perspectives of others.
Common Good - Committing to making the school and community better for all.
Service - Turning empathy into action that betters the community or the lives of others.

Objective
1. To foster caring, empathy and good character in students.

- Police Youth Club
"Helping to Build a Better Jamaica"
The Police Youth Club is a Jamaican Based Organization led by Mrs. K. Brown and Mr. M. Black, the Guidance Counsellors of the school. It fosters Character Building by identifying and empowering the future leaders of the country through voulunteerism and Healthy Relationship Building with the Police Force and Authority.

"Serving One Another"
The Red Cross is a School Service Club that Provides you and your peers with opportunities to make a difference by addressing your community's greatest needs and developing leadership skills.
Values
1. To Protect the life and health of oneself and others.
2. To give aid and comfort to the sick and suffering.
3. To link together all the children of the world in a chain of friendship.
4. To inform others about the Red Cross Principles and International Humanitarian Laws.
The Promise
I...as a Youth member of the Jamaica Red Cross society promise to serve God, and Country, and to join with others all over the world to give friendship and service to all mankind.
- Brownies
"A Brownie Guide thinks of others before themselves and does a good thing every day."
The Brownies (Guide) Club is under the Supervision of the Girl Guides Association of Jamaica,
and provides a platform for girls to build skills, take part in activities, experiences and opportunities aimed at encouraging self-development, and social responsibility.
Guiders and volunteers involved in this club have a special mandate, to plan and deliver a programme with a myriad of chances for girls to feel empowered, and unlock their potential for growth, and leadership.

Objective
1.Learn about themselves.
